Yes, and it makes a fantastic present for the writer in your life! I’ve worked with many writers who’ve come to me via a gift mentorship from a loved one.
A bespoke package is usually the best way to go if you’re giving it as a gift, and I’m happy to talk you through the options. Let’s book some time for a quick 15-minute chat (it’s NOT a sales call, I promise – I’m really bad at those anyway!) – you can do that here.
Yes you can. If, for example, you have a platinum tier membership but you only want to send me 1,500 words of your work in progress one month, you might choose to include a 500 word synopsis and a 500 word plot breakdown too.Â
​I probably shouldn’t say this out loud, but I’ll usually turn a blind eye if you’re up to 500 or so words over every few months. Any more than that, though, and it starts to impact the time I have available to other clients. If you need a longer section read one month, please let me know and we’ll work something out – I charge a reduced rate reading fee for existing clients.
I do! I charge £0.0125 per word for copyediting (£12.50 per thousand words). If you have an enquiry about a copyediting project, please get in touch here.
Please rest assured, though, that whether I’ll flag up typos, grammatical errors, or misplaced punctuation marks wherever I find them, no matter what sort of edit or mentoring partnership you’ve booked me for!
