I do, but I encourage writers to consider a membership package first. This is for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, by signing up to an ongoing mentorship, you’re signalling your commitment to your writing and to yourself as a writer. Second, a membership allows me to offer the service at a much lower rate, due to the reduced admin burden. This means that you get more support for your money – plus, if you’re anything like me, having a predictable mentoring schedule may help focus your writing, too.

Yes you can. If, for example, you have a platinum tier membership but you only want to send me 1,500 words of your work in progress one month, you might choose to include a 500 word synopsis and a 500 word plot breakdown too.Â
​I probably shouldn’t say this out loud, but I’ll usually turn a blind eye if you’re up to 500 or so words over every few months. Any more than that, though, and it starts to impact the time I have available to other clients. If you need a longer section read one month, please let me know and we’ll work something out – I charge a reduced rate reading fee for existing clients.
Technically, no – that’s a different sort of edit and I leave it to the folks who specialise in that area. In reality, I will more than likely flag up typos, grammatical errors, or misplaced punctuation marks where I find them.Â
